Usually an order will ship within 24 hours or the next business day. You must be at least 18 years of age to order any product from this site. Privacy Policy:
When you place an order with us at The Spyderco Store, we ask you to provide information to complete your order by filling out and submitting an online form. This information includes your name, telephone numbers, mailing address, e-mail address and credit card information. All information regarding our online customers is stored on a highly secured server that is not accessible through the Internet. This information will never be sold or given to anyone for any reasons. Here at The Spyderco Store we respect your privacy.
Please note that your phone call may be recorded for quality control and training of our staff.
Form of Payment:  
The Spyderco Store accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number. Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order. All funds are considered US currency rates.
The Spyderco Store will also accept US Postal Money Orders for domestic orders only. When sending a money order please make payment payable to "Tamco Commerce, Inc." Orders are processed upon receipt and verification of payment. I am sorry but we do not accept personal checks of any kind.
Gift Certificates: A gift certificate that is issued by The Spyderco Store is redeemable for merchandise purchased only at our website and is good for a period one year from the purchase date. Any outstanding balance cannot be redeemed for cash or applied to a purchase from any other stores. We will issue a refund for an unused gift certificate providing that it is done within 30 days from the purchase date. After 30 days we will not be able to issue a refund of any kind.
Return, Shipping and Exchange Policy:

As a company policy, The Spyderco Store does not ship to New York State.

The Spyderco Store reserves the right to change the shipping method at our discretion from other than what the customer selected. Some examples are product location, high dollar value (Dollar value is determined by The Spyderco Store) orders. The vast majority of the time we ship as requested.

Please contact us first for any order that is incorrect or defective prior to returning the order to our warehouse.

If we send out the incorrect item we will make it right. In the event we have to ship out another order due to our error, we will need to charge your credit card for the replacement order including shipping. Once we receive back the first order, you will receive a full refund for the replacement order. When retuning an item and if available please use the original shipping container and provide all documentation that came with the item.

We now offer shipping insurance. This insurance is low
cost and guarantees the delivery of your order. You will have the option
to purchase the insurance during checkout. In the event you elect not to purchase the shipping
insurance we will not be able to assist in the event your package is
lost or stolen as stated below.
USPS Mail: All lost claims will be between you and the post office without our insurance.
United Parcel Service (UPS): Please note that the first $100.00 of insurance coverage is included in the shipping fee charged by UPS. You will only need to purchase insurance from The Spyderco Store when shipping via UPS if your order value is over $100.00 dollars. Without our insurance anything over $100.00 dollars is not covered.

In the event you provide an invalid/incorrect shipping address and your order is lost or delivered to that invalid/incorrect address, the shipping insurance purchased becomes null and void. If this happens The Spyderco Store cannot be held responsible and will not be able to provide any form of a refund or store credit.
The Spyderco Store reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without notification.
Address Change after shipment and Lost or Refused Shipments:
1. If an order is returned to our warehouse due to an incorrect delivery address we will need to reship. The customer will be charged an additional shipping fee. If the customer elects not to reship the order, then the returned package will be treated as a return. The shipping fee from the first shipment is non refundable plus a 10% processing fee of the purchase price will apply. If the error is due to our mistake then we will reship at no additional cost to the customer.
2. If you do not receive your order within the specified shipping time selected you will need to contact us within two weeks from the purchase date. If nothing is heard within 30 days from the purchase date the order will be considered final and we will be unable to provide a refund or replacement.
3. Any package refused for delivery or any package that was requested by the customer to be held at a UPS delivery hub and then returned to The Spyderco Store will incur a 20% restocking fee plus if shipping was free the outbound and return shipping fees will also be assessed prior to issuing a refund.
4. If you provide the wrong,
or an incomplete or an invalid shipping address we cannot be held
responsible. If your order is delivered to the provided address, or lost
within the U.S. Postal or UPS systems we will attempt to retrieve the
order with the selected carrier. If we are unable to retrieve or
if we never receive back your order, it will considered final and we will not be
able to provide a replacement or refund of any kind.
Order Cancellation:
The Spyderco Store reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason without notice to the customer. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, The Spyderco Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. The Spyderco Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, The Spyderco Store will immediately issue a credit to your credit card used to make the purchase.
Sales Tax:
We are required to charge 5.0% sales tax on all orders shipped to Virginia addresses. No tax will be charged on orders shipped outside the state of Virginia. |
